Close Finishes, Inc. today added an on-line Vintage Store to www.CloseFinishes.com – the company’s on-line web portal.
The new Internet store will feature a rotating mix of select vintage and historic automotive and motorsports items – most of which are 20 years or older.
According to John Close, the president of Close Finishes, the new Vintage Store was created to satisfy current consumer shopping trends.
“It used to be if you wanted an automotive or motorsports collectible, you’d have to attend a swap meet, car show, or race and spend a lot of time
searching for a hard-to-find item or a special gift,” stated Close. “These days, it’s all right at your fingertips on the Internet. You don’t even have to leave your easy chair to purchase the perfect addition to your collection – or a special, unique gift for that person who ‘has everything.’”
Close, a 25-year automotive and motorsports writer, indicated the new Vintage Store on CloseFinishes.com will provide a seamless shopping experience.
“Because the new Close Finishes Vintage Store is E-Bay based, customers can buy with convenience and confidence,” Close stated. “Each item is listed with photos and a complete description so the buyer will be able to see exactly what they are buying. And all purchases will be a PayPal transaction so payment is simple and easy.”
Close also indicated the new web-based store will offer a wide variety of name your own price E-Bay auction bid items as well as many reasonably priced ‘Buy It Now’ selections.
“We’re going to feature a lot of vintage automotive literature and press guides along with all kinds of historic racing collectibles – NASCAR team materials, clothing, toys, event programs and postcards,” Close indicated. “Many of the items are new in the box or have been autographed by some of the greatest drivers in the sport. It’s a real pleasure to offer these items that we’ve stockpiled over the years to automotive and racing memorabilia collectors and fans everywhere.”
