Brandon Overton driving the Budweiser sponsored #76 captured the checkered flag in the Saturday night race of the Georgia State Outlaw Championship Late Model Series at Screven Motor Speedway. Overton started 4th in the 40 lap race, earning $2000 in the Super 7 Late model series.
In an action packed race with a lot od side by side racing, Gib Gibbons (07) finished second, Jordy Nipper (1) was third, Joe Armstead Jr ( Blue 21) was fourth and Chris Ferguson (22) was fifth.
Brandon started racing in 1997 in the Go Karts Class at Burke County Speedway. His first Late Model win was in 2004 in the Super Late Model Class at Screven Motor Speedway.
Overton started seventh in the Friday race of the Super 7 series and he finished second.
Screven Motor Sports Complex is a great multi-use racing facility located in Sylvania, GA. It is home of the Screven Motor Speedway, a Gamecock Speedway, Savannah River Dragway, GeeChee Creek Mud Drags and a Entertainment Complex.
The Screven Motor Speedway will host the Winter Freeze being headlined by the World of Outlaws Late Models on 8 & 9 February 2014.
