May 30th was a beautiful day to join the 2nd Annual Herb Emory Memoria Ride. The ride’s proceeds benefit Emory’s greatest passion, the Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.
The ride kicked off at 11:00 that morning at Atlanta Harley-Davidson in Lithia Springs, GA. Hungry riders returned to Fred’s BBQ House on Thornton Road for lunch, which was included in the ride fee.
This year featured a Community Marketplace Arts and Craft Show, spearheaded by Emory’s wife, Karen. The vendor registration revenue benefitted the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy in Douglas County.
The Herb Emory Memorial Ride would like to thank all the sponsors and volutneers that helped make it an even more successful event this year. (Photos by FL Hanyon, MSA)
