Boat racing returns to Lake Guntersville this summer! This weekend will feature the H1 Unlimiteds, the Grand Prix World hydros and the Powerboat National series. Two nights of concerts, static displays, food and fun including a kids zone with water slides will round out the weekend.
TICKET PRICES FOR THE GUNTERSVILLE LAKE HYDROFEST ARE AS FOLLOWS:
ALL PASSES INCLUDE ADMISSION TO CONCERTS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT.
GENERAL ADMISSION PASSES:
- Adult general admission: $20 per weekend pass
- Children, ages 6-12 general admission: $10 per weekend pass
- Children age 5 and under will be free.
ULTIMATE WEEKEND PASSES:
The Ultimate weekend pass includes admission into the event, free transportation to see the boats as long as there is a seat on the bus at anytime throughout the three days of racing, a commemorative event program, and a fan pack with HydroFest merchandise.
- Adult Ultimate Weekend Pass: $40 per weekend pass
- Children, ages 6-12 Ultimate Weekend Pass: $30 per weekend pass
CLUB LEVEL PASSES:
Club Level Passes include access into a large, private, tented area for on-the-water viewing and free lunch and nonalcoholic beverages on Saturday and Sunday, and transportation to see the boats as long as there is a seat on the bus at anytime throughout the three days of racing.
- All club level passes are $100 each.
PERSONAL TENT SPACES
Personal tent spaces are available for $50 per space. Each space will be 15X15 ft. There are three tent space zones. Specators will be allowed to pick the zone where their personal tent space will be located. Spectators will be allowed to set up personal tents from 12PM – 7PM on Thursday, June 27th. No tents or hard coolers will be allowed beginning Friday morning. All tents must be set up during the designated time on Thursday. No alcohol or grills are allowed. Alcohol will be for sale inside the event venue.

CONCERTS:
Guntersville Lake HydroFest is proud to announce two additional nights of concerts for this year’s biggest event at the lake. On Friday, June 28, Grammy-Award winning artist Zach Williams will take the stage. As a contemporary Christian artist, Williams hit number one with his first two singles, “Chain Breaker” and “Old Church Choir.”
Saturday night, June 29th, the concert will be a 70’s reunion when two of the biggest music bands of the era Orleans and Firefall take the stage.
PARKING ($5 ALL DAY):
All parking for Guntersville Lake HydroFest spectators and concert goers will be offsite with bus transportation running from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Recommended parking lots for pickup are listed below:

VIEWING BY BOAT:
The boat ramps at Tom Jackson Park and Brown’s Creek, both located adjacent to Ala. Hwy 69, will close to the public at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26th and not reopen for public use until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1st. These ramps will serve as the pit areas for four classes of race boats.
The racecourse will be located to the left of Ala. Hwy 69N. Access to this area of Lake Guntersville will be closed to personal watercraft Friday, June 28- Sunday, June 30 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
For spectators that wish to view the races by water, the Beech Creek ramp, located on Warrenton Road, will remain open. For anyone wishing to leave the viewing area during active racing, this ramp will need to be utilized. Boats may launch at Beech Creek and watch the races from outside the course area.
There will be no personal watercraft allowed under the Ala. Hwy 69 causeway bridge during the race weekend while the course remains active.
