Senoia, GA – Senoia Raceway is set to kick off it’s racing season this Saturday with the annual Spring Nationals featuring the Super Late Models competing for a $10,000 winner’s purse. Cancellations of many of the nation’s top series has created a growing interest in this weekend’s big race. Drivers are expected from all over the eastern region.
“We have received phone calls from several drivers wanting to make sure we are racing this weekend,” said promoter Bill Massey. “Former race winners Chris Madden, Jonathan Davenport, Scott Bloomquist and Dale McDowell have called. Donald McIntosh, Shane Clanton, Ashton Winger, the list keeps getting bigger. This could be one of the biggest races we have ever held.”
Friday night offers a practice round for all the drivers while Saturday’s preliminary actions starts at noon. The main events will crank up at 7pm on Saturday night headlined by the $10,000 to win, 60-lap main event for the Super Late Models.
