(JUNE 28, 2022) Parris Simmons jumped to the lead early, and drove to the 602 Late Model feature victory on June 24 Friday night at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway.
Simmons, who hails from Baldwin, Georgia, started the night by setting fast time in qualifying with a lap at 17.500 seconds around the 3/8-mile clay raceway.
Simmons moved to the point on the drop of the green flag, with Cody Pritchett in tow. Simmons went on to lead all 15-laps en route to the victory.
Pritchett finished in second, with Rod Roberts in third, Shane Yarbrough in fourth, and Austin Fox in fifth.

Just a few laps later, he managed to track down Hunt and retook the lead. From there, Poole went on to score the win, while Hunt saw a strong finish go away after contact with David Dove sent Hunt spinning. Drew Griffith avoided the trouble to finish in second, with Dove third, Nathan Bowen in fourth, and David Brown in fifth. Hunt rolled under the checkered flag in sixth.

Fowler worked his way back thorugh the field, and then took advantage of a mistake by leader Will Kettle to move to the point. The duo then battled over the closing laps, with the two making contact on the final lap. Fowler kept his car straight while Kettle spun. Fowler went on to the win, with Tyler Johnson in second, Gains in third, Koltin Bryan in fourth, and Bryson Briscoe in fifth.
