After being rained out on April 29, the Red Clay Dirt Late Model Series finally got to hit the track on Saturday night at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway.
It was worth the wait for Mavrick Davidson, who powered forward from the 11th place starting spot to score the victory in the 30-lap feature on the 3/8-mile clay speedway.
The victory was worth a $2,000 payday for the Douglasville, Georgia speedster.
Sam Ellison finished in second, with Allen Styck in third, Shaun Sise in fourth, and Matt Steward in fifth.
Dylan Perry, Jamie Godbee, Michael Courtney, Will McConnell, and Daniel Brewer rounded out the top 10.
In other action, Joey Armistead, Jr. edged out Bubba Pollard for the Limited Late Model victory. Oliver Gentry followed in third, with Rucker Orr in fourth, and Wesley Scott in fifth.
Matt Dooley was the winner in the 604 Late Model feature, with Chase Baker second, Ty Ellis third, Colby Darda fourth, and Dustin Smith fifth.
Cory Hillman was the winner in the Modified feature. John Holcomb, Brett Gray, Lance Postell, and Jack Mills rounded out the top five.
Allen Jones went to victory lane with the Hot Shots feature win, with Mike Webb in second, Eli Levine in third, Christopher Clinton in fourth, and Kevin Scott in fifth.
