Time to Battle… Daniel Dye is heading to the “The Great Last Colosseum” at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS). After an off-week, Dye is ready to jump back into the No. 43 Champion Container Chevrolet RST for his second start on the concrete high banks, and third overall at BMS. Dye’s most recent performance at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) showed he has the ability to be one of the fastest trucks on track by running inside the top-10 late in the event. He’ll look to parlay his recent speed into his first top-10 finish on a short track.
Moving Up… Dye continues to show out this season by qualifying inside the top-10 in all three events. He’s displayed significant improvement from his rookie season, as evidenced by a seven-position increase in the point standings through three races versus 2023. He currently resides 11th in the NCTS points standings and looks to rejoin the top-10 and playoff contention in his second start on the BMS concrete.
MHR’s Short Track Success… Dye is hoping to follow the success that his MHR teammates have enjoyed at short tracks. Christian Eckes has top-10 results in multiple tracks shorter than a mile and led a race-high 150 laps at BMS last September. Dye’s other teammate Tyler Ankrum has also excelled with two top-five and five top-10 results on short tracks. The memory of Dye’s first-career NCTS pole award at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) is fresh on his mind and is hoping to making it three-consecutive pole awards for MHR on the concrete at “Thunder Valley” this weekend. The Floridian has already posted two track-best finishes this season at Daytona International Speedway and AMS, and is looking for a third on Saturday night in the hills of Tennessee.

“Bristol is one of the most challenging places we go. Things happen so fast and you always have to stay on your toes throughout the night. We’ve qualified pretty well so far this season with our Champion Container Chevrolet and the game plan is to do the same this weekend. Bristol has turned into a pretty difficult place to pass, so if we can qualify well again, hopefully we’ll be able to manage the race from there and give ourselves a chance to have a great night.”
