We’re just 23 days away from the Ambetter Health 400 and a weekend full of fun and great racing is taking shape.
Here’s some of the latest news from Atlanta Motor Speedway…
Big Boi leading the way
Diamond-selling recording artist, rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, and philanthropist Big Boi will lead NASCAR’s stars to the green flag at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 23.
Well known as one half of Outkast and the Dungeon Family’s foremost wordsmith, Big Boi will serve as the Honorary Pace Car Official during the Ambetter Health 400.
As the Pace Car Official for the Ambetter Health 400, Big Boi will guide the NASCAR Cup Series grid through the opening laps and set them loose for 400 miles of action on Atlanta’s high banks!
Longer stays available for exterior campers
Fans staying in the campgrounds outside the speedway can now enjoy their campsite for TWO additional days!
Exterior campgrounds will open on Monday, February 17, at 2 p.m. ET, allowing campers who take advantage to extend their stay at AMS to a full week!
Trackside campgrounds will open at 9 a.m. ET Wednesday, February 19, followed by infield campgrounds on Thursday, February 20 at 2 p.m. ET.
Live music announced for the spring Peach Pit Party!
One of Atlanta Motor Speedway’s most enjoyed traditions is also one of its newest, with the Peach Pit bringing the party to the infield for the last several years and getting bigger with each event.
This year will be no different, with laser lights, fireworks, games, and live music by ThunderBeard: A Tribute to ZZ Top!
If you haven’t experienced the party in the Peach Pit yet, make sure it’s on your weekend to-do list on February 22 — this infield party is FREE to all campers and ticketholders on Saturday night of race weekend!
