The Hilliard U.S. Vintage Grand Prix Weekend is one of the largest and most anticipated events at Watkins Glen International. Celebrating the rich history of North American road racing, this event features hundreds of vintage race cars from various eras. Organized by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), the weekend offered fans a unique opportunity to see classic machines in action on this legendary circuit.
As one of the largest annual events at Watkins Glen and a SVRA favorite, this special vintage race weekend brings together hundreds of race cars representing well over 100 years of motorsport pursuits. The on-track competition is second to none. Watkins Glen hosted the nation’s first post-war SCCA road race in 1948 before racing moved to the purpose-built 3.4-mile, 11-turn circuit in 1956.
